Jason Campbell

FIELD REPRESENTATIVE, THEN PROMOTION TO LEADER, PROMOTION TO CREW LEADER, PROMOTION TO ASSISTANT OWNER, AND NOW PROMOTION TO OWNER.

I have been at Mamba since March 2007 and within that time I have progressed from starting on the sales & marketing side to consistently managing a sales team of between 10 - 15 people. I feel this position has developed my mentality and attitude and my work ethic so strongly that I could succeed in any industry.
In my time of being in the business it has given me amazing travel opportunities. I was invited on an all expenses paid long-weekend trip to Marbella in November 2007 and again in November 2008, for the Company’s annual trip.  I have also travelled to both Portugal and Cyprus staying in some of the best 5 star hotels for the annual Group “R n R” weekend which again the group holds every year. I have also travelled around the UK being invited to meetings and conferences in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Plymouth and Nottingham. Each trip I have travelled with the Managing Director of the company allowing me to really learn the right mentality and attitude you need to succeed at running a profitable business.
There is no other career that can offer me this, especially at the age of 23.
Before I started in Mamba I studied engineering at college and university. I quickly realised that, that particular career path was not as fast moving for me. I worked in Morrison’s food stores for four years while studying. What I was paid was pretty pathetic and basic opportunities to manage were not challenging enough. Leaving there to join Mamba was an easy decision for me.

For many months I succeeded in selling, marketing & training in the Charities division, and then in December 2008 I traveled to one of our Group offices in Plymouth with members of my team to learn more about one of the groups largest clients being SKY, since coming back to Glasgow I started the representation of SKY with just four other strong individuals and already now in January 2009 I have a team of over 15 individuals working on this representation.  I am still learning the fundamentals of a business set up and all the financial, recruitment, administration & management side of running a business, and in a matter of months I too will be setting up my own company in Glasgow, I have chosen the name:  “Entice Marketing”, I am really looking forward to continuing the growth of the business whilst further expanding the group.
This business has given me the opportunity and belief that I can achieve anything I want to.
I know my goals and ambitions are in my own hands.
