I have been at Mamba for 1 year & I have loved every minute. I have met so many great ambitious people just like me. This is the opportunity I had been waiting for. Jumping from job to job, I was always looking for the easy route, fact is, there is no easy route, you just have to work hard & then anything becomes possible.
In my first week with Mamba I got promoted onto the business development programme. Having learned how to conduct sales I am now learning how to manage and coach a team to ultimately be able to run my own marketing company successfully, in the not so distant future.
Being a really competitive person, this is the best place for me to challenge myself. So far I have been rewarded with two Luxurious Yacht Trips on the Celtic Warrior & then another huge yacht around Loch Lomond, followed by lunch at the spectacular Cameron House, what treats!
I was so proud to be mentioned at my first ever awards ceremony, called The Rising Star Awards, which were held at the Edinburgh Hilton Hotel, hearing my name being included in the new upcoming stars of the business was a very proud moment.
So far I have travelled down to Nottingham for the European Convention, where over 3000 people were in attendance, I loved it! It was a combination of a concert & an awards ceremony, they even had the show opened by “Diversity” from “Britain’s Got Talent” – WOW, followed by amazing musicians from Spain, at the event I was so excited as I had to go up on stage & collect my first ever 2 awards, 1 for sales & another for sales leadership.
We had a Divisional Regional Road Show in the Radisson Hotel in Glasgow, where I was made the first member of the new “Quality Club in Scotland”. This was my opportunity to do some public speaking, to a crowd of 200+ offering my tips, scary at first but fun. I achieved this for consistent high sales & more importantly high levels of quality sales with great customer services! I have since achieved my bronze award & my silver award & this time I am going for my gold award.
I am currently managing a solid team, a quality team! I have 20+ members in my team, who have already been promoted onto the business development programme. I look forward to my next promotion to Assistant Owner & working alongside the Managing Director. My team will grow rapidly & I am proud of what we have achieved so far, I am looking forward to the future & what it has in store for us all. I believe that success breeds success so I will continue to work hard to achieve my goals whilst assisting my team members to do the same.
Travelling around the UK to all major cities like Manchester, Birmingham, London, Liverpool, Edinburgh to name a few. This is one of the aspects of this business I love the most – getting up on stage to receive awards such as for sales or leadership & management skills. Being recognised for my hard work has helped me to develop my self-belief in an industry that I had no experience of in the past.
I previously worked for an office Interior Design Company. I am a creative person so I was in my element. However, I have always been very ambitious & there was no progression available to me. Now my energy & creativity is invested into myself & my future office.
