I joined Mamba Marketing in January 09 as one of their Office Managers.
My previous experiences included Sales, Business Development and Administration within various industries, but mainly within the financial sector.
My duties within Mamba include dealing with all of the administration mainly in the Charity’s Division, a tough challenge to my already organised character. Attention to detail in every single task I complete is paramount to ensure the smooth running of the office.
The Main other part of my role is Recruitment, the most challenging, but the most exciting rewarding part of my job, and I am so passionate with it, due to the people I have seen coming into the business and seeing how well they are doing.
What I love so much about Mamba is we have so many different types of people in our office, we have people that are just starting out their new careers, who have completely embraced all the training provided and are now running a team of other people!! But also we have extremely experienced professionals who have come to us with a vast array of previous management experience, and due to our rapid in-house promotion structure and our non stop expansion they have also embraced quality training on behalf of massive client names and they have excelled through the Business Development side of the business.
We are a company that is still continuing to grow and grow despite the current climate, and that in itself makes it an absolute joy to be here.
I have been lucky enough to attend several National meetings, several Rising Star Meeting’s - some of them held in the likes of stunning hotels like Crowne Plaza Hotel - Glasgow, another Rising Star Meeting held in the Hilton Grosvenor Hotel - Edinburgh, and my biggest meeting yet was at the Nottingham Arena with well over 3000 individuals in attendance, we had a full on Scottish Parade - all dressed from head to toe in full Scottish Attire and also got lead in by a Scottish Piper & Drummer - unbelievable experience! Oh and that show was opened with “Britain’s got Talent” -“DIVERSITY” that was such an experience!! I especially love the fact that these meetings are to showcase and recognise the new successful individuals in the businesses across UK & Europe (as well as hearing about other successful offices we have World Wide).
I also have been to Nottingham on a separate visit for a yearly Owners meeting, where new ideas and experiences are shared with over 500 people attending, and that’s just the Managing Directors, Assistant Owners and Office Managers!.
Lastly the best thing about working in Mamba is the fun and energetic atmosphere, you just cant escape it, once your here you become enveloped in it and there’s no turning back!!!!!
