After joining Mamba I was very quickly promoted onto the Business Development Programme. Before joining Mamba my passion in life was beauty therapy, something quite far from the sales and marketing field. I am very financially driven, therefore doing sales & marketing motivates my competitive nature.
I have been given the chance to spend time with the top trainers in the organisation which has helped me massively develop my skills further. Attending company meetings within the group (many times) & learning more every week feeds my hunger to learn and keeps my short attention span at bay.
Being recognised constantly for my effort has boosted my confidence in becoming a strong training manager.
I won a sales competition within the group to travel to Geneva to visit the head office of one of our major clients, The British Red Cross. The visit was to the ICRC and the famous Red Cross museum and if that wasn’t enough excitement, on the same week I also attended a Rest and Relaxation weekend to say in an exclusive villa in Marbella in Spain (all expenses paid – may I add!) with a select few other colleagues and the Managing Director of the company – the trip & the accommodation was sheer luxury! I have been fortunate enough to gain a sales & marketing award which was accompanied by a huge freebie: a 42” HD Plasma TV! I have also won an IPOD touch, as well as numerous monetary bonuses along the way – just some of the many incentives at Mamba.
Some of the most exciting moments I have experienced at Mamba have got to be when I attended group conventions in Manchester and Nottingham. Getting up in front of hundreds of people to receive my Rising Star Award was Fantastic so you can only imagine how proud I felt when I attended the Annual Convention of 4000 people (which included my parents) in Nottingham and received my Leaders Award for training and developing a sales team. I have never felt so valued.
By far the biggest highlight of my career at Mamba has to be my Rest and Relaxation trip to an exclusive area of Tenerife (may I add an all 5 star luxury resort part of Tenerife) , where I was invited to spend time with the top owners and not to mention organisational heads and vice presidents and chairman of the company. All expenses were paid for on this 5 star luxurious resort trip at Gran Melia – Tenerife.
Since joining Mamba my eyes have been opened into a mass of opportunity which continues to feed my hunger for success.
Seeing the success of others has given me inspiration and has shown me how achievable it is to hit my long term goals in such a short space of time, with a lot of effort, a willingness to listen and learn and determination to succeed, anything is possible.
I have been given the responsibility now to open a new sales and marketing office location in Dundee, where I am putting all the skills I have learned since starting in Mamba just 2 years ago into daily best practice. My goal long-term is to then move to the USA to launch yet another new marketing company.
